The Beeker Solution: No. Every desk and playtable uses a height-adjustable leg system — similar in concept to the Stokke Tripp Trapp — that allows the legs and bench seating to be re-set as your child grows. One desk covers ages 1 through 7+, often longer. It's a one-time investment designed to eliminate repeat purchases.
The Beeker Solution: Absolutely. Every children's table is finished with either an EN76-rated Osmo oil (one of the highest food-safety ratings for wood finishes in the world) or multiple fully cured coats of water-based polyurethane such as General Finishes High Performance. Both are 100% safe for direct food contact once cured.
The Beeker Solution: Only on unsealed wood — which we never deliver. Our durable film finishes create a fully wipeable surface that completely repels squished berries, dried glue, markers, and spills. A damp cloth is all you need. The finish protects the wood underneath for decades.
The Beeker Solution: Never. All edges are rounded over using a router — not just sanded — which creates a consistent, smooth radius that is genuinely safe for toddler collisions. We can also integrate optional corner protectors on high-traffic corners for extra peace of mind.
The Beeker Solution: Yes — the Homeschool Family Desk is specifically designed for this. The leg positions are independently adjustable on each end, allowing you to configure one surface to two different ergonomic heights. Are the finishes safe for babies and toddlers?
Yes. Every children's piece is finished with child-safe, food-safe products — these are tables little ones eat at, chew on, and live with, and they're finished accordingly.
Can you build a table to custom dimensions?
That's the point of custom. Weaning tables, playtables, and adjustable desks are sized to your child and your space — tell us the height you need and we build to it.
Do you deliver?
Yes — we serve Central Florida with delivery, and a free in-home consultation before the build so we get the sizing and design right.
